The Gem Theatre & Colony Club, Detroit’s premier Private Event and Wedding facilities, located in Downtown Detroit, are looking to expand their Operation Staff. We are looking for energetic service personnel to staff our upcoming Weddings and Corporate Events. We offer a fun work environment and very competitive hourly wage.
Job Openings:
Event Captain:
Assists the Event Manager, Lead Server, Waits on Head Table or Event Contact, Manages Room Set-Ups and Break-downs, Service Trainer
Applicant Requirements:
- Fine Dining or Private Club Experience
- Restaurant or Event Management Experience
- Wedding Experience a PLUS
- Professional appearance
- Take Direction well
- Work well as a team
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Must be available nights and weekends
- Must be able to pass a background check

Service Staff:
